Music has always been an integral part of my life and I intimately know and understand the impact that music has in our lives. As a professional musician and teacher for over two decades, I’ve always maintained that we are all musical beings – that rhythm, song and melody lives in our bodies just as much as thoughts and emotions do. This knowing was confirmed when I started studying Music Therapy, and I bring everything that I have learned and experienced into my classrooms, into my practice and onto the stage.
I have a Masters degree in Music Therapy, two Honours degrees in Music and in Psychology, and a diploma in Sound Therapy. I have had my own journey with therapy and I am particularly drawn to Jungian analysis and everything that goes with it – like working with dreams, symbols and imagery. I am passionate about my work and my aim is to provide a space where clients can become who they are meant to be in this world.
